Welcome to our registered Smallholding (emphasis on the small) situated on the borders of Shropshire, Herefordshire & Worcestershire. We keep a few sheep and hens, sadly not cattle as I couldn't stand the annual 'lottery' of TB testing. Until recently we kept Rare Breed Sheep in the form of Borerays but let's just say they're rare for a reason and they now live at the fabulous Cotswold Farm Park.
Originally I trained in Speech & Drama with the aim of becoming an Actress but Alopecia in my early teens made me very self conscious so ran away to the countryside enjoying a fantastic 15 years studying and working in Dairy Farming. An opportune interview with Bill Turnbull on Radio4 (another story) and my life changed, becoming a BBC Radio Presenter in the Midlands for 12 years, discovering that 'talking' is what I'm best at! Now I Compere/Event Present for Food, Drink and Gardening Shows all over the country which I love.
One thing I've always done is write, and wrote a monthly column for various 'Life' Magazines for several years. Reckon it's time for the book!
